A one-piece box that prints flat and folds shut on a print-in-place hinge, clicking closed on a snap latch - or a classic box with a lift-off lid. The whole image shows on the lid inside a solid border, with an optional lettered banner below it and optional dividers inside.

What works best
- Any image shape: the box follows it so the whole image shows
- Very tall or very wide images make long, narrow boxes
- Faces need to be about 22 mm wide on the lid for photo shading
What we do to your image
- Rotated upright using the photo's orientation tag
- Colours mapped to our 10 stocked PLA filaments (max 8 per item)
- Transparent margins trimmed; remaining transparency prints white
At least 300 px on the longest side, 800 px or more recommended.

The preview updates a moment after you stop changing things.
Long side; the other side follows your image. Reduced automatically if the box would not fit the printer.
Closed height. Automatic: 36 mm fold-open (20-120), 60 mm lift-off (30-150).
Box, lid border and hinge colour
Optional; knocked out of a banner below the image 0 of 20 characters used.
Automatic keeps faces as photo shading and turns logos and art into bold solid colours.
Limits for this product
- Max 8 colours including the white backing and the box colour
- Fold-open boxes up to about 230 x 156 mm (one flat plate); lift-off up to 300 mm
- Lid lettering thinner than 0.45 mm is flagged before you order
