How it works
From your image to a real object
We make two kinds of things from your images: multi-colour 3D prints and custom T-shirts. Both are produced in our own workshop from real production files — here's what happens, and what makes a good image.
The steps
3D prints
- 1
Choose a product
Keychains, light boxes, ornaments, coasters, portraits and more.
- 2
Upload or pick a design
Use your own photo, logo or drawing, or start from our library.
- 3
Check the real preview
We run the production generator on your image: you get the 3D preview, size, the filament colours it uses and the result of our manufacturing checks. Any warning is explained, and you accept it before ordering.
- 4
Place the order
No payment at checkout. We review it and email a secure payment link.
- 5
We print and ship
Printed on our Bambu Lab H2S from the exact file you previewed, finished by hand, packed and shipped.
T-shirts
- 1
Pick colour and size
16 garment colours, sizes S–3XL on a heavyweight unisex cotton tee.
- 2
Add your art and text
Place images and text inside the print area, front and back.
- 3
Preview at true scale
The preview and the 300-DPI print file are rendered from the same design. We flag low resolution, low contrast and tiny text before you order.
- 4
Place the order
No payment at checkout. We review it and email a secure payment link.
- 5
We press and ship
Your print file is produced, heat-pressed onto the shirt in our workshop and shipped.
Image guidelines
Not every image can become every product. The preview always shows what we can actually make, and our checks warn you about anything that won't come out well.
For 3D prints
What works
- One clear subject, or a logo whose parts connect to each other.
- Strong contrast between the subject and the background, and between colours.
- At least 1200 px on the longest side (each product shows its own minimum).
- Bold shapes and lettering. A bigger product size keeps more detail.
- For photo products: a large, clear, well-lit face — the face needs to fill a good part of the photo for a likeness.
What doesn't
- Tiny text and hairlines: anything thinner than about 0.45 mm at the final size won't print.
- More colours than we can load: your colours are mapped to our 10 PLA filaments, max 8 per item (including the base and border). Smooth gradients become bands of colour.
- Group shots and small, distant faces — they lose likeness at this scale.
- Exact photographic shading, metallic, glitter, neon or see-through effects.
- Images you don't have the right to use (see our content policy).
For T-shirts
What works
- 150 DPI or more at the printed size: a 12 in wide print needs at least 1800 px across; 3000 px or more is ideal.
- Transparent PNGs — only your artwork prints, not a background.
- Colours that stand out from the shirt colour you choose.
- Designs that fit the print area: from 10 × 12 in on size S up to 13 × 16 in on 3XL.
What doesn't
- Low-resolution images (below 75 DPI at print size can't be ordered; below 150 DPI we warn you).
- Solid backgrounds — they print as a visible box. The designer offers background removal.
- Very small text (under about 0.15 in tall) and hairline details.
- Expecting exact screen colours: ink on fabric always looks a little different from a screen.
Production & shipping
3D printing
Every 3D item is printed on our Bambu Lab H2S with two AMS units, so up to 8 filament colours print in one go. Each item has its own printer file, made by the same pipeline as your preview and checked to be watertight, to fit the 340 × 320 × 340 mm build volume and to stay within 8 colours. Magnets, rings and other hardware are fitted by hand.
T-shirt printing
We print your design as a DTF (direct-to-film) transfer and heat-press it onto the shirt. Dark garments get a white underbase under the ink so colours stay bright. The print file is a 300-DPI image at the exact physical size of your design, rendered from the same design you previewed.
Shipping
Ships in 3-5 business days after production. Shipping is a flat $6.95 per order, free on orders of $75.00 or more. We start production once your order is paid; any tax is confirmed with your payment link.
Do I pay when I place the order?
No. Checkout places your order without taking any payment. We review it, confirm the proof and production time, then email you a secure payment link. Production starts once payment is received.
Is the preview what I'll actually get?
For 3D prints, the preview comes from the same pipeline that writes the printer file: same shape, same colour regions, same size. For T-shirts, the preview and the 300-DPI print file are rendered from the same design, so placement and scale match.
Screens show colour approximately. 3D prints use our stocked PLA filaments, and ink on fabric always looks slightly different from a screen.
Can any image be turned into a 3D print?
No, and we'll tell you before you order. A clear subject with good contrast works best; tiny text, hairlines and very busy photos may not print. Every 3D item passes automated manufacturing checks, and you see any warnings on the preview. See our image guidelines.
How many colours can a 3D print have?
Up to 8 per item, chosen from the 10 PLA filaments we stock: black, white, gray, blue, red, green, yellow, orange, pink and purple. Your image's colours are mapped to the nearest filaments, and the preview shows the result.
How are the T-shirts printed?
We print your design as a DTF (direct-to-film) transfer and heat-press it onto the shirt. Dark garments get a white underbase under the ink so colours stay bright. Every order is pressed in-house from a 300-DPI print file.
How long does it take?
We start making your order once it's paid. Ships in 3-5 business days after production. See production & shipping.
Can I use a logo or character I found online?
Only if you own it or have permission to use it. When you upload, you confirm you have the rights, and we may decline orders that use other people's trademarks or artwork. Read our content & image rights policy.
What if something arrives damaged or misprinted?
Contact us with a photo and we'll put it right. See returns & reprints for the details.
