What works best
- A single portrait of one person or pet
- The face must be large and well lit: at least 25 mm wide on the tone plaque (15 mm on the lithophane), or the plaque cannot be ordered
- Leave space above the head: tall photos are trimmed top and bottom
- Pet silhouette: one pet clearly separated from a plain background
What we do to your image
- Rotated upright using the photo's orientation tag
- Tone plaque: shaded with the chosen tone filaments
- Pet silhouette: background removed automatically; the outline is smoothed and very thin parts are thickened slightly so they print
